Hi guys. I’m developing a product, I started with Jetpack 4.3 and the directory was named:
~/nvidia_sdk/JetPack_4.3_Linux_P2888/
For some reasons I tried to upgrade to Jetpack 4.4 and had some problems with a driver from e-con systems so I went back to JP4.3.
But now the directory is named:
~/nvidia_sdk/nvidia_sdk/JetPack_4.3_Linux_JETSON_AGX_XAVIER
, and some files are different. In particular,
l4t_create_default_user.sh
is missing.
And my e-con systems driver installation fails and gets me to a halted system.
Any hints? Can I download the old Jetpack somewhere?
Thanks a lot
Hmm…
Honestly, l4t_create_default_user.sh is not released in jetpack at all. This was only a tool I shared on forum for some users to debug.
I don’t see why you must use it. Why not just re-flash the board with the jetpack you have?
Hi Wayne, thanks for your time.
I know the problem is not the JetPack. JP4.3 installs ok, although the name change it still bothers me (perhaps this name change breaks the e-con install script).
I know the root roblem is my e-con systems driver which is overly complicated.
As in my installation notes I wrote “don’t forget to run lt4_create_default_user.sh!”, it seems that it resolved this error at boot.
Do you know where can I find it?
Or, of course, any other hint about how to resolve this lockup at boot.
Thanks again, and have a great New Year.
Well, unfortunately it didn’t work.
It’s just some problem on the e-con systems installer. It won’t install ok over jetpack 4.3.
I’ll just close this issue here and wait for their support guys to help me.
Thanks a lot.
