The project that I am working on is using a Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit. I have referenced the datasheet and it says that the voltage supply to the kit can be between 7 and 20V. I cannot find anything that references the amount of current that is acceptable and will not damage the kit. The chip that I am using is the Orin Nano 4GB. Will it be able to tolerate 6A supply? It will be supplied via DC jack and the board will have connections to multiple other electronics.
Hi, I think you misunderstand the power consumption. The power consumption of devkit only depends on the use case running on it, not depend on the external power supply maximum output current capability. Devkit won’t be damaged by supply current capability.
