PCIe failed to assign memory space

I have a PCIe card which has one 128MB prefetchable region and one 2MB non-prefetchable region. It works perfectly on x86 PC. But when I plugged it to the Jeston TX2 board, kernel showed:

I’ve checked Tegra TRM and the device tree setting, TX2 should have a 896MB prefetchable and a 127MB non-prefetchable address space each, so why it failed to assign address for my card?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

This is weird. Do you have any other device connected in the system which might be occupying most of the BAR space not leaving enough to map your device’s BARs??
Can you please share full dmesg log?

I find another PCIe card, a PCIe to USB converter, which has only one 32KB non-prefetchable BAR. This one works well on TX2.

I compared the logs, it seems the main difference is about this device:

Well, it matters because 00:01.0 is the root port itself. Unless the BAR fits into the root port’s BAR, it can’t claim the addresses that are meant for its downstream devices.
The thing I don’t understand is, who is showing a BAR size of 0x0C000000 (i.e. 192 MB)? that too a non-prefetchable BAR. From the logs, it looks like the endpoint device is asking only for a 2MB of BAR mapping.
Can you please apply the below patch and check once? If this works, would you care to share the ‘sudo lspci -vvvv’ output?

Thanks for catching the mistake in my patch and thanks for sharing the log and lspci output.
It looks like the system is trying to fit both prefetchable and no-prefetchable BARs of endpoint into the non-prefetchable window of root port which is weird. I’ll look into it.
