I have been trying to import a pointcloud USD file and it won’t load into the scene.

I appreciate the post, but I will need a little more information. What kit template are you using? What version? USD Composer? 106.5? You have tagged it as “AODT”. Is that what you are using? We do not actually support AODT here.
You are trying to import a native point cloud? What format? How big? Or are you trying to import / open a USD file containing a point cloud? What is your GPU? What specs?
We need as much detail as possible.
