Power Bank not working for Jetson TX1 board

Our Jetson Board doesn’t power up while using a Power Bank. However, the board works absolutely fine when connected using the power plug.
It is an Energizer battery and one of the port has a 19V, 3.5A(max) output.

Following are the ways we tried to resolve the issue:

  1. Checked the output voltage of the power bank using a multimeter and it showed 18.89V.
  2. Used a friend’s power bank which was working absolutely fine for him.
  3. Used our power bank for friend’s project (using TX1) and it worked for him.
  4. Removed all the peripherals connected to Jetson TX1 and then tried connecting power banks. But, still none of the power banks worked.

It is weird that Jetson board is working perfectly fine when connected with the power cable from AC mains but, doesn’t work for any of the power banks.

Could it be an issue with the Jetson board or there is some configuration or setup for power bank that we may be missing?
Please suggest if any inputs or if anyone has faced a similar issue in the past.

Hi, as to item 3 as below, ‘using TX1’ means with dev kit or with custom carrier board? Your board is custom carrier board? What’s the result of using your power bank to dev kit?
