Questions for GeForce RTX 2060 on Kubuntu

Hello!

I recently set up my PC for duel-booting, until i decide if i wish to go full Linux.

So far, I’ve install what i believe are the right drivers for my graphics card. I’ve made changes suggested by other boards as well, but i still experience slow down on the OS when with Windows 10 i never experienced.

I most likely either haven’t gotten everything set-up or i messed something up, so if anyone is more experienced on setting up drivers for KDE Plasma I’d greatly appreciate it

Spec details:
Allocated RAM (for linux boot): 32gbs
Distro: Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Rev. Asus Edition
OpenGL Version: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 515.48.07

If anyone has suggestions or potential solutions please let me know!

Your 2TB seagate hdd is broken, should be replaced. Furthermore, the nvidia driver was updated so you need to reboot, it’s defunct right now.

My linux distro is set up on a partition not located on my HHD. Does that still mean i have to change it out?

Which part inside of that log file tells you that my HHD is broken?

If the data on it isn’t important, you can keep using it until it breaks completely, of course.
