ROS 2 Support

I am currently using ROS1 with Ubuntu 16.04 but I would like to move toward using ROS2 on the Jetson TX2.

Is ROS2 supported on either Ubuntu 18.04 or 20.04?
Is Ubuntu 20.04 supported by the Jetson TX2? Otherwise, is 18.04 supported?

Hi @jamoore, Ubuntu 18.04 is the officially supported version in JetPack 4.x. Others in the community have dist-upgraded to 20.04 via apt, but it seems to not entirely work with GPU support.

My recommendation is to run one of these ROS2 containers, in which I have pre-compiled ROS2 from source for 18.04: https://github.com/dusty-nv/jetson-containers
