Hi rdev20, No need to use that method from r28.2 anymore. We have official too for this. Linux_for_Tegra/tools/bmp-splash$ ls bmp-blob-README.txt BMP_generator_L4T.py config_file.example genbmpblob_L4T.sh Please read the readme file here.

What jetpack release are you using now?

This tool will be available since jp4.4.1, you can download one jetpack4.4.1 and move those tools back to older jetpack and see if it can work.

Are you asking if it’s possible to use the image you show (‘star’ with ‘Loading…’ below it) as your BMP splash? Yes, but only as a static image - CBoot does not support dynamic BMPs.

To use that image, capture it as a 1920x1080 24bpp (Windows format) BMP file, and read the bmp-blob-README.txt to see how to use it to create your own bmp.blob, which you then copy over to replace the BSP bmp.blob in <Linux_for_Tegra/bootloader> & reflash.
