The connected Jetson Device is not ready for flash. The issue is likely related to a non optimal usb connection

I am trying to flash jetson AGX orin through sdk manager. I am facing the above issue. I tried with multiple USB cables but issue still persists

Is your host PC a Virtual machine?

No, Its not a Virtual machine, Anyway I can try changing the host.

Did you put the board into recovery mode?

Or change my question to another way:
Did you have experience in flashing any Jetson device before? It would be easier for us to understand how familiar you are with Jetson.

Yes I put it in recovery mode by following these steps
1: Power off
2: Power on
3: press and holding the recovery button in the middle
4 : pressing and holding button 3 and then released both buttons together

The jetson is detected in sdk manager
No I don’t have any prior experience in flashing jetson device. This is the first time I am doing it.

Could you click the export logs button from your sdkmanager and attach full log here?

logs.txt (11.1 KB)

I have copied all logs in txt file here. Please find it in attachment

  1. Just to clarify for next time. You could click the “export logs” button on sdkmanager GUI and it will give you a zip file. I need that zip file but not copy paste thing from you. Copy & paste thing may not have the info we need.

  2. The logs.txt gives this error.

15:49:09 INFO: *** Checking target board connection … SDKM_INSTALL_ERROR find: Failed to restore initial working directory: /usr2/spanwar: Permission denied

Are you sure this ubuntu host is ext4 partition and you are with root permission?
