TP-Link Archer T2UB Nano AC600 Nano Wi-Fi Bluetooth 4.2 USB Adapter Not Working Orin NX

  • Jetson Orin NX
  • Jetpack 5.1.2
  • L4t 35.4.1
  • Ubuntu 20.04

Hi, I am using the TP-Link Archer T2UB bluetooth adapter, I have the exact same set up as the above except instead of Orin NX I have the Orin Nano 8GB and this works perfectly, I just plug it in and it works. However on my other set up where I have an Orin NX it does not work, the device is seen perfectly when I use lsusb etc. and I can run bluetoothctl, when i try to run scan on it says “no default controller availible” and when I try to leverage the same python snippet as I have on my Orin Nano set up it says no adapter availible. Wondering if there is a slightl nuance I am missing between the two set ups I need to use, thanks

Hi,
Do you use Orin Nano carrier board and connect the bluetooth adapter to either type-A port? If one is Orin Nano module + Orin Nano carrie board, and the other is Orin NX module + Orin Nano carrier board, and both are flashed to Jetpack 5.1.2, it is supposed to work the same.

Both same underlying details both use Seeed studio J401 carrier board, I found an additional driver which the Orin NX needed and this then worked, there definitely are some underlying discrepancies, I had a similiar issue connecting it to an intel Wifi, Orin Nano worked out the box Orin NX didnt

Hi,
The carrier board is from 3rdparty. Would suggest consult with the vendor for further support.
