TX2 developer kit DC input

Hi,

I am developing a custom carrier board for TX2 and when I see the Jack DC input of the P2597_B04 schematic, I see that the VIN_PWR_BAD# signal is connected to the power mosfet through a 0.47uF capacitor. I do not understand how this signal will assert low when a valid DC input, since the mosfet that controls it requires DC at the gate to switch.

Could you please help me understand how this circuit works?

Hi, when DC input, the gate of mosfet is enabled as the RC charging and so VIN_PWR_BAD# is shorted to ground which makes system held until DC input is stable.
