Hi there,
I’d like to download the basic assets provided in Issac sim, but unable to get them.
Is there any method to solve the Issac sim console error below when downloading assets?
In the console error & warning appear:
2024-03-27 12:29:02 [Warning] [omni.kit.browser.folder.core.models.folderbrowserdata] Invalid URL: http://omniverse-content-production.s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/Assets/Isaac/2023.1.1/Isaac/Sensors
2024-03-27 12:29:32 [Error] [omni.kit.browser.folder.core.models.folderbrowserdata] Timeout 10 seconds when listing http://omniverse-content-production.s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/Assets/Isaac/2023.1.1/Isaac/Sensors/. Please check your network and connection to the url. Otherwise increase the timeout.*
@skyun.oh i am just a passerby, and was curious how you are going about downloading the assets? are you downloading the asset(s) as a pack from the Launcher or talking about the ones that come with your nucleus server?
my personaly experience has been to set up nucleus service and server (a localhost, like what @rthaker has already mentioned) with designated port for OV to access those NVIDIA assets on http://omniverse-content-production.s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com
. so i suppose there could be few factors in play: the nucleus service connectivity, nucleus server, or something else related to your connection. if inclined, you could upload and attach the most recent Isaac Sim .log found under section 1 of the doc:
https://docs.omniverse.nvidia.com/isaacsim/latest/installation/install_faq.html#common-path-locations
and if it’s related to ports, make sure you have the ones mentioned in the doc open along with the endpoints towards the bottom of the page:
