USB 2.0 custom carrier with L4T 28.2.1

Hi,
im using my own carrier with nearly the same usb connections as the nvidia carrier board (only missing INA3221). i only need one usb 2.0 connector - so my USB 2.0 connector is conneted to A38 and A39.

With L4T 27.1 i could fix this with the https://elinux.org/Jetson/TX2_USB device tree patch for vbus-2-supply = <&battery_reg>;

But with 28.2.1 the usb is not working any more.

perhaps someone can help me.

thanks for your answer.
my usb vbus is independend from the TX2. Even without the VBUS the USB phy seems to stay disable during boot and later.
i also tried to plug in my usb stick/ or mouse after booting to desktop. but there are the same problems.

On r28.2.1, we can run below flash command successfully:

sudo ./flash -r -k kernel-dtb jetson-tx2 mmcblk0p1

no, no issue. this flash command is working. but still USB problems with 28.2.1.

Sometimes i got overcurrent messages. but i dont have any load switch ic on my custom carrier. so i dont measure usb current. perhaps there is an floating pin?

Could you share your USB HW layouts? I think we can clean other redundant settings and try.
