When I try to open USD, isaac sim 2022.2.1 crashes. I intend to wait until 2023.1, but please let me know of any workarounds

I am using ubuntu22.04 on the GeForce RTX 4060 8GB LaptopGPU. When I try to open USD, isaac sim 2022.2.1 crashes.

Currently, I am using driver version 535.104.05 and would like to switch to 525.60.11, but it’s not compatible with my GPU.

I am considering waiting for version 2023.1, but is there a workaround to use it in the meantime?

I’m using the Ampere A4000 as a GPU on Paperspace. For reference, Isaac Sim 2022.2.1 is running on Ubuntu 20.04. However, due to being accessed over the network, latency is an issue. I’d like to utilize my local GPU machine as much as possible while avoiding the aforementioned problem.

Hi @yoshi-mizomoto - Can you provide the complete log file?

Hi y-mizomoto, sorry to hear you have issues.

535 driver series are not currently fully compatible with Omniverse applications. In the near future, we should be able to support them, once technical requirement page is updated to specify that.

Since you are on a laptop GPU, could you please try driver 525.125.06 that should be compatible:

It would be nice if you could provide the .log file as well (Settings → logs location, then Kit/[app-name]/[version]/*.log). Thanks

Thank you, nnikfetrat-san. It worked correctly without any crashes.

I will enjoy using it.
I believe I will have more questions in the future, so thank you in advance.
