Isaac Sim crashed after open a usd file

I try to open my saved USD, Isaac sim will crash. Here are some info of my computer:

  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
  • CPU: 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-13900KF × 32
  • Storage: 2TB SSD
  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080
  • VRAM: 16GB
  • NVidia Driver: 545.23.08
  • CUDA: 12.3
  • Omniverse: 1.9.8
  • Isaac Sim: 2022.2.1

@longylian i am just another user passing by - according to the log, the GPU crashed:

2023-12-06 04:30:28 [30,999ms] [Error] [gpu.foundation.plugin] A GPU crash occurred. Exiting the application...
Reasons for the failure: a device lost, out of memory, or an unexpected bug.

not sure what changes were made before it started crashing, but was it working fine before? you could consider either updating the driver to the recommended version and/or updating to Isaac Sim 2023.1.0 hotfix.1 to see if that helps.

Hi @Simplychenable , everything is working fine, I can play and edit my scene before I open USD file. I can see full memory capacity is available with htop command.

Thank @Simplychenable , I update Isaac Sim 2023.1.0 hotfix.1 and solve this.
