A standard 40 PIN GPIO cable is too wide and the center foot also does not fit

It is a standard cable. Maybe there is a special cable for the Xavier that does not require to connect each pin separately.
It should be just a standard double row of 20 pins, 0.1" spacing. However, there are such connectors with and without keying…the keying does not exist, so you’d need just a generic 0.1" spacing without keys or guides (basically, grind off the center key).
