Which Wifi card should I buy for Jetson Nano?

I have Jetson Nano B01, and USB dongle WiFi, but I face issues with it, which you can read about here:
WiFi issues in Jetson Nano; Can’t SSH or Ping - Jetson & Embedded Systems / Jetson Nano - NVIDIA Developer Forums

There are also two limitations. First, it only supports 2GHz bandwidth, and second, it doesn’t allow hotspot/access point creation.

I’m therefore looking to use a WiFi card. I’ve read about Intel 8265, but it doesn’t seem to be available in my country.
The one which is available is Intel 9260, but I’ve read that it isn’t supported out of the box in Jetson Nano.
If anyone has recommendations for a card which could solve my issues, it would really be a great help

Hi jash.local,

Have you found the suitable WiFi card you need? Any result can be shared?
Sorry for the late response.

I have purchased Intel 9260 wifi card, but I don’t know for sure if that will work.
If someone can share their experience with this card, that’ll be great help

Intel 9260 provide the default driver for kernel 4.14+ as default. For jetson, the kernel version 4.9 need driver backport.
You can get the right backport driver here: kernel/git/iwlwifi/backport-iwlwifi.git - Backport tree for iwlwifi

Hello @jash.local,

We have used TP-Link 600 and TP-Link 1300 wifi USB modules. These are not cards but if you are interested, you can find the tutorial below.

Regards.

Thanks for suggesting, I’ve used WiFi adapter, but ran into some issues.

Are the adapters which you suggest any different, or better?

AC1300 support USB3.0 so it is faster. You can find more specification about them in below links.

Thanks, I’ll check them out :)
