Why does "RTX Sensor Visual Materials" reflect the point cloud of RTX lidar in the direction of radar rays

I’m very sorry, but I encountered some issues while using RTX Lidar and cannot understand.

I am using RTX Sensor Visual Materials for Rtx lidar, and according to the configuration tutorial, I have assigned the material ‘reflectororange’ to cube2.

I want to simulate the reflection of some point clouds, such as the reflection of point clouds caused by laser radar rays hitting mirrors, metals, etc. According to my understanding, I think the point cloud of the LiDAR hitting cube2 will reflect onto the cube.
But it’s strange, it’s different from what I thought. It appeared on one side of cube2, and I find it difficult to understand this behavior. It seems to have hit cube2, then hit cube, and reflected back to the part drawn in the blue box.
I think it should hit cube2 and reflect onto the cube to end it.
Why does this phenomenon occur? My configuration file ‘maxReturns: 2’
