Has anyone developed or found some sort of enclosure for the Xavier yet? I might need to find one and drill some holes manually because my hardware team is ‘great’
I made a simple on, can post the stl on thingiverse later today for you, but you can’t use a full size pcie card with it…
Will post the link here if it’s not a problem for the mods ?
That would be awesome! Do you mind if I modify it slightly? Btw if you use PCIE cards for USB ports, you could also get an Aukey USBc hub, I bought a thin one and its amazing, works better than something like an Amazing Basics hub.
Here you go,
I am not a 3D designer, so it’s not pretty, but works for me in my Inmoov Robot :)
The Xavier can be flush mounted because of it’s fan design, but i decided that i wanted a bit of space under it, just to keep the noise down and be safe ;)
Not sure if drilling those 4 tiny holes in the plastic bracket voids any warranty, if so, there are .step files for the plastic pieces somewhere her on the download page so you can convert and even 3D print those first :)
As you can see in my picture i also use Arduino Due’s for servo control, if someone needs it, i can edit it so you have screw holes on each side for two Arduino’s…
You are a true hero to me! Also what is the module attached at the bottom? The green board.
Did you drill into the plastic stands? It seems like the screws are going into the stand.
Haha rafcin.s, thanks :)
That green board is a Auvidea J20 6 x camera interface, was made for the TX1, but i ported it to TX2,and now to Xavier, but can only get 4 of the connectors to work… (with raspi V2.1 IMX219 cameras).
The Auvidea J20 also stops the internal analog audio / mic connector on the Xavier from working, think it’s a I2C thing…
Have moved on to a Leopard imaging camera interface now…
And yes, i drilled 4 x 2mm holes :
