Xavier NX 16GB DRAM 16GB eMMC Flashing

I have a JNX30D carrier board from Auvidea. I download the JetPack 5.1.2 with Nvidia SDK Manager, skipped the flashing process and flashed the board with the command “sudo ./flash.sh jetson-xavier-nx-devkit-emmc mmcblk0p1” after copied the kernel_out to “/nvidia/nvidia_sdk/JetPack_5.1.2_Linux_JETSON_XAVIER_NX_TARGETS/Linux_for_Tegra/”. When it is rebooted I follow the Ubuntu installation process but stucks after starting the installation. Any recommendations?

Best,
Selim

Third party carrier boards usually require different firmware (device tree). Unless Auvidea specifically states that their carrier board uses the default NVIDIA flash software it means you’ve probably flashed with the wrong flash software. When you go to the Auvidea website for that carrier board, does it provide any flash (Board Support Software, BSP) content? Or does it state to use the NVIDIA software?

If it is merely asking about first boot account setup, then there are ways around requiring that.
