This is two days i’m trying to start my xavier nx 16GB on auvidea JNX33 carrier board, i followed the auvidea user guide as well as the method i read from the forum at this page Error flashing Xavier NX 16GB on SD Card on Auvidea Carrier Board
But after a successful flashing, my jetson can’t boot normally. i can see errors like failed to start nvpmodel, failed to start docker container.
Can someone please provide me with a solution? it’s my very first real experience with jetson. Can i easily make it work using jetpack 5. for example? please help me
You should contact with the board vendor first. I can guide you how to dump log to check if your board is booting up or not.
But my guidance is only for NV devkit. Not for your Auvidea board. The pin may not be the same location. I don’t know.

on my carrier board, i have buttons to switch from recovery mode to reset or boot mode. I think pin is not needed on it.

I was tryin to say you need get a usb-ttl cable and connect it between your jetson and host machine. Dump the log and share it here.
My previous point was I don’t know if your board has this pin out or not. I guess it would have. But you need to check with the board vendor’s document.

Some other points here before you dump the log out…
I don’t think you should care about that “failed to start nvpmodel, failed to start docker container.” error at this moment.
→ Your “boot failed” actually means the GUI does not show up and spew you some logs.
The point you should worry about is why the GUI does not show up. Those nvmpmodel error or docker error does not matter to the GUI. So not something you need to worry at this moment.
