Hi
I’ve a problem during install of PGI trial version, i obtained my evaluation licence but some thing is wrong with my install, please help me

Installing software into /opt/pgi (this may take some time).

./install: line 439: /opt/pgi/linux86-64/7.0-6/bin/lmutil: no such file or repertory

FLEXlm hostid is empty. Unfortunately, we cannot generate license without hostid.

Hi joanas,

My best guess is that you don’t have a network card on eth0, which FLEXlm requires. If this is the case, please contact license@pgroup.com since they will be able to give you a different style of license which will work around the issue.
