It isn’t that much resources, but I prefer to only have Omniverse running when I start Omniverse. Can this be accomplished? If I have to start Nucleus separately that is OK.

Yes, just go to STARTUP there on 3 tabs over, find the Omniverse systems and set it to DISABLE for startup

Kind of re-opening an old thread here, but I’ve disabled Omniverse on start-up using the task manager as described here, yet every time I open it up, it gets re-enabled, so when I next boot my laptop, Omniverse starts up.
It seems that starting Omniverse changes the start-up settings. Is this something that can be changed?
There is actually a better way now. RIght click on the OV launcher icon in the system tray and you will see an option to disable launch at login
