Issue with signing in Omniverse Launcher

I was able to solve the firefox issue by reinstalling firefox from ppa rather than snap.
Snap’s version of firefox has always given me issues.
Someone having similar issue as me. i.e. Issue with signing in Omniverse Launcher - #12 by marmik18

You can use the following post to reinstall firefox and hopefully the issue is solved for you aswell :)

I have the same issue suddenly. I also see it trying to delete the desktop file and throwing an exception if it doesn’t exist. creating the file does not fix it however.

if I touch that autostart desktop file it would still sometimes fail with that exception - I wonder if AppImage and its overlayfs or view of the user home directory could have something to do with it
