Hi
My Jetson AGX Xavier cannot power on this morning and yesterday it seems Jetson is quite slow.
I try to enter recovery mode which I cannot.
I try to use micro B to dump bootloader log. But it is still not.
Do you have any suggestion about this symptom? And Anything I can try~~~
Thanks
Edison
Hi
I have more information about this.
I also measure voltage at the DC jack which output 19.5V.
The power indicator can turn on while the power button press on.
I only see the ttyUSB0~4 while I connect J501.
Thanks
What does that mean you could not enter recovery mode?
Are you sure you know how recovery mode works here…?
Hi Wayne
Yes, I use following steps to enter recovery mode before.
I use the step to refresh one year ago.
Currently, I follow same steps but the sdkmanager cannot detect AGX Xavier device.
-
please disconnect the power-supply.
-
press the forced-recovery button.
-
plug-in the power-supply, keep forced-recovery button pressed.
-
press the power button to boot-up the target.
If the steps are incorrect pls let me know~
Are you sure that USB cable is fine?
Are you sure you connect the correct port to flash? Only one type C port on Xavier AGX has capability to get flashed.
I use J512 connect type C.
Cable is fine.
Could you kindly share any suggestion about this symptom? Many thanks
When you connect that cable to your host PC, is your “dmesg” command on host PC giving you any new log there?
Hi Wayne
I cannot get any log from device. so I cannot “dmesg“ to get any kernel log.
Hi,
I am asking for a log from your host PC… We know that your Jetson is not providing log…
我們要的是你host PC端的kernel log. 不是你Jetson那邊的
Oh I understand that.
No, dmesg cannot show any message.
Do you have other Jetson Xavier/host PC/usb cable on your side that can cross check if any of the board really can enter the recovery mode?
If you have multiple Jetson but none of them could be detected by host, then that might indicate your setup or method has issue.
If only one Jetson has issue, then it might be hardware problem on that device.
