Killing the process just makes it start up again in the background. Something does not seem right about the launcher. It uses up more CPU than Omniverse USD Composer!
You just need to right click on the launcher icon down in the bottom right hand corner system area, and hit EXIT. That should do it. We have reports of this but no idea why it is happening to certain people.
My environment of Omniverse Launcher after Ver1.8.11, Both of Workstation and IT Managed always use 1Core of CPU at 100%.
Latest IT Managed Launcher 1.9.10 and Workstation Launcher 1.9.11 is same too.
I tried Windows 10 and 11 reinstall.
Until Ver1.8.2 seems to be no problem.
The problem occers when primary GPU is NVIDIA. Also vWS.
Intel integrated GPU + NVIDIA GPU mobile workstation is not.
Because, Omniverse Launcher work with Intel GPU as default setting.
For now NVIDIA Desktop Workstation, the only solution seems to be to end .
Thanks for the information. Yes that makes sense. Our recommended drivers are R535 and not above. I have heard that it may also be affected by having the Geforce Experience App on your computer at the same time.
