I recently use Omniverse Create, and I was making a scene in ChangeColor.usd file.
The file existed in the omniverse://localhost/Marble/ directory.
However, when I launch Omniverse create one day, I could not open my project because my ChangeColor.usd file does not exist.
I never deleted the file by myself.
Is any way to recover?
Hi Kamatoto! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I’ve created an internal ticket of your issue (for your reference OM-29367). I also let the development team know of your issue.
Hi @kamatoto! The development team as asked for the log file for your issue. Can you please attached it to this post so that we can figure out what may have happened here?
This happened to me as well. I posted in the forum about it.
My post is “Failed to open stage” on March 21st.
I’ve been waiting for a response, since I did respond to the person that tried to help.
@kamatoto - Yes, please send the console logs when you try and open ChangeColor.usd from the recent menu selection.
When Create is running, do you see ChangeColor.usd in the content window? I cannot tell from your screen shot since the names of the files have been blurred. Here is a screen shot of my Create.
Do you see the file present? I want to determine if the file is not actually present vs being corrupted.
If the file is not present, can you install “Drive”. This application under the “Exchange” tab. Install this application and follow the documentation at Drive Connect — Omniverse Utilities documentation
This will map a windows drive (like O:) to the localhost Omniverse Necleus. Then you can view the contents of Necleus in a windows explorer type interface. Can you then see if ChangeColor.usd in under Omniverse->localhost->marbles. Then search for the file name in the entire drive. It might be somewhere else.
Even tried above suggestion, I could not recover ChangeColor.usd file.
So I have given up and made other projects from scratch.
I could not recover but ALL Nvidia members taught me so kindly. I sincerely appreciate your time and consideration.
