Only Xform no Mesh when publishing a Revit Project to Omniverse

Hello,

I have a problem publishing/viewing any Revit Project in Omniverse.

When I send a default Revit BIM Project like “BIM_Project_Golden_Nugget_Architecture,” the walls have materials in Omniverse, but that’s it.
I cannot see other Revit families. They appear in the project browser but only as “XForm.” No materials, no “Mesh”.

I am getting hundreds of these errors:

[Error] [USDElementConversion] [RevitUSDFamilyInstance.cs] [WriteToUSD]: at RevitOmniPlugin.OmniConnectWrapper.Omni_CreateOrUpdateOmniPBR(String primPath, OmniPBR material) at RevitOmniPlugin.MaterialData.ToMDL(Boolean isInstance, String instancePath) at RevitOmniPlugin.Export.Converters.RevitUSDFamilyInstance.WriteToUSD() Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

I have already changed the Revit language to ENU.
I have changed the export settings from “Use material mapping” to “Use Autodesk materials” back and forth.

If anyone has any idea how I can fix this, I would appreciate an answer.

@lennart.raap i am just another user, but would like to inquire a few things:

  1. which OV app are you viewing this in? Presenter, Composer, etc?
  2. what’s the version of the following programs: Revit, Revit Connector, and OV app
  3. could you upload the most recent .log file from the OV app?
  4. is this producible using a much simpler scene?

Hello @Simplychenable:

  1. USD Composer Version 2023.2.3
  2. Revit 2023.1, Revit Connector 202.1.2503, OV Launcher 1.9.10

RevitLog_55e290c5-e884-4f52-8319-48f89a5c33c6.log (9.9 MB)
4. Log comes from a much simpler scene.

Edit:
That is the Log from Golden Nugget:
RevitLog_Golden Nugget.txt (22.4 MB)

Let me see if we can identify the error for you. Are you getting this error on any scene ? Even a new simple one ? It would help if you can capture a video of your workflow. Something is very ususual here.
