Question about DW35 release "Multicast Devices Unsupported"

Hello,

According to the Driveworks 3.5 release notes, multicast devices are no longer supported on the network connected to the HSD 100/1000 ports.

Q1: Is this permanent or will it be reversed in a future release?
Q2: Is there any way around this (enable multicast, even for just 1 group).

We previously purchased sensors (ARS 430) which are configured to use multicast. Trying to re-configure them is out of our hands; we have to ask Continental for that. So in parallel I’m asking if it’s at all possible to re-enable multicast on the HSD 100/1000 ports.
