Ssh: connect to host 192.168.55.1 port 22: Connection timed out

I have done with the basic setup of jetpack 4.4 with swapping. And Now I am trying to login through system using ssh command “ssh @192.168.55.1”. It is showing error of connection timed out. I have changed several data cables and I have also connected the jetson and pc to internet but it is still showing this error. I have tried to login through several devices (laptops) but showing the same error in all.
Please tell any solution for this error “ssh: connect to host 192.168.55.1 port 22: Connection timed out”

Is your host running Linux or Windows or Mac? Some details change, most threads in the forum assume Linux.

Information it would be useful to know:

  • Were you able to complete the first boot login setup and create a user?
  • Can your host “ping 192.168.55.1”?
  • On your host PC, what do you see from “ifconfig” and “route” commands?
