Using Orin NX 8GB module with the Orin Nano 8GB development kit

Hi,

I am currently have Jetson Orin Nano 8GB development kit with latest Jetpack installed on NVMe SSD, https://jetsonhacks.com/2023/03/22/nvidia-jetson-orin-nano-developer-kit-the-perfect-solution-for-makers-and-developers-a-review
says that Jetson Orin NX 8GB module can be used with the same Orin Nano developer kit carrier board, if it is true, how to replace Orin Nano module by the Orin NX module to use this development kit? is there any tutorial you recommend? after this hardware replacement, do I need to reinstall jetpack to use this new hardware module, or should it work with the existing jetpack installation on NVMe SSD?

Are you talking about how to physically remove the old module on the carrier board and put your new module?

You could refer to either Xaiver NX or Jetson nano devkit user guide to know where the module located. And use screwdriver to remove those screw and remove the module from the slot.

And you still need to reflash the new module and nvme SSD.

The old content inside the nvme only has software for Orin Nano.
