look at the logs there are a few errors,

Your NVidia omniverse account log is not the same as your Nucleus localhost login. The Nucleus localhost uses the username and password you set up when you installed it. The default is “admin” and “admin” for both username and password if you forget. You can try that. If you cannot connect, you can simply remove the shortcut from your Omniverse apps, like Composer or Launcher and use “Add Server” and add back “localhost”. If it is setup correctly it should work. If it is not setup correctly and you have no important data that you will lose, you can simply delete your Localhost install and reinstall fresh.
Installing a localhost Nucleus server is not required for you to use Omniverse, its apps or its SDK. It is an optional download just for installing your own local Nucleus server and to test it out. It offers some demo files for use, but they are also available inside USD Composer. It is required for you to create a “Live” Session with some of our Omniverse Connectors, but not all apps and connectors support this feature.
OK, so uninstalling the local Nucleus server and re-installing it fix it. Yes having it is nice, does it not hold more data and version etc to the USD in the file.
I mean yes, Nucleus may have some versioning, but so does OneDrive, Dropbox and even the normal Windows file system. Or you just save multiple versions as you go which I think is much safer. If Nucleus goes down, so does all of your data. I prefer to use normal file systems.
