Can I get the image/vedio pixel data in my own application bypass the driveworks on Drive PX2

We plan to set up the deep learning by ourselves for image recognition instead of using driveworks. Is it possiable? If yes, is there an api or device to get the image/vedio pixel data indenpdent of driveworks.
