I have a trouble at booting DRIVEPX after flashing by driveinstall.
All flashing process hadn’t any errors and finished driveinstall.
However, after waiting for a while, DRIVEPX doesn’t procced to the next step(any init setup and boot-script).
driveinstall:
Drive PX2 AutoChauffeur(P2379) SDK 5.0.5.0
Aurix FW-4.02.02
Host PC: ubuntu 16.04
I would appreciate your reply and advices.
Hi jeong_drivepx,
Are you means after finished Driveinstall, the DRIVEPX doesn’t boot up?
Are you follow below link steps to install Driveinstall?
https://docs.nvidia.com/drive/driveinstall_docs/index.html#developertools/mobile/driveinstall/linux/5.0.5.0b/sdk/install.htm%3FTocPath%3D_____3
Please notice steps 10:
When flashing is completed, DriveInstall will power cycle the device.
Required software is installed on first boot-up of the target system. This can take up to 10 minutes.
Hello, carolyuu
Thank you for your reply.
The power cycle is not entered and TegraA/B fan has spinned and stopped unlike the following.
10.When flashing is completed, DriveInstall will power cycle the device.
Do you think any ideas about the cause?
Thank you in advance.
JEONG
Hi jeong_drivepx,
Sorry, could you description more detail about your issue?
After finished Deiveinstall, how about LED that near the power adapter is turn on or off?
And If you press power/reset button, the DRIVEPX can boot up?
Thanks!
Hi, carolyuu
After finished Deiveinstall, how about LED that near the power adapter is turn on or off?
the LED of the power adapter is blue when turned on.
If you press power/reset button, the DRIVEPX can boot up?
It seems that the situation hasn’t any change and fan noises of tegra A/B sound loudly.
when I read contents of flash_tegra_A.log, it says thatPartition is OK and Bootburn operation sucessful.
HostPC can access internet by proxy server.
I wondering the target fails to enable internet access.
However,
When I read “instructions for setting up the Linux host and the target for accessing the Internet from the target”,
I found the following that
“the board must be booted before attempting to set up Internet connectivity.
This ensures that the X server and other packages are installed from the local repository instead of online.”
I think that DRIVEPX can be booted at least without any ethernet conection.
It may be another issues.
Thanks,
JEONG
jeong_drivepx,
It sounds that you still don’t know if the device has booted up or not. Could you connect a HDMI monitor or something else to check?
Dear WayneWWW
It sounds that you still don’t know if the device has booted up or not.
Unfortunately, DEVICE hasn’t booted up!
other topic: tegraA stop working
It does not seem to boot up. No HDMI output is available.
I have a simular issue like the upper things.
I will try to reflash by driveinstall.
Thanks,
JEONG
