Issue Description:
I connected the network as shown below and configured it with:
sudo ifconfig eqos_0 192.168.2.120 netmask 255.255.255.0
sudo route add default gw 192.168.2.1 eqos_0
However, I still cannot ping 192.168.2.1
There is no update from you for a period, assuming this is not an issue anymore.

When 1G NIC adapter is connected to LAN wire, do you see any IP coming by default and ethernet interface is detected before configuring status IP? What is the objective of setting static IP? Could you share the ifconfig log?
