I have flashed the machine with Drive OS 5.2.6, I want to cross-compile the nvros packages that comes with it, nevertheless Drive OS 5.2.6 doesn’t install driveworks on the host which produces some errors. The documentation that comes with Nvros in Drive OS 5.2.6 says:

NvROS depends on CUDA-10.2 and DriveWorks 3.5, and takes the default paths for these packages as /usr/local/cuda-10.2 and /usr/local/driveworks-3.5.

It’s also stated that:

DriveWorks 4.0 will be available late summer 2021.

DriveWorks 4.0 is only compatible with DRIVE OS 5.2.6 and will not work with DRIVE OS 5.2.0, or DRIVE Software 9.0 or 10.0.
DriveWorks 3.5 is only compatible with DRIVE OS 5.2.0 and will not work with DRIVE OS 5.2.6 or DRIVE Software 9.0 or 10.0.

How to cross compile the nvros packages?

Dear @jber4282,
You can download DW 3.5 Host/aarch64 packages from NVIDIA DRIVE Downloads | NVIDIA Developer. Did you check with DW 3.5?

Will that work? even though, it’s stated that:

DriveWorks 4.0 is only compatible with DRIVE OS 5.2.6 and will not work with DRIVE OS 5.2.0, or DRIVE Software 9.0 or 10.0.
DriveWorks 3.5 is only compatible with DRIVE OS 5.2.0 and will not work with DRIVE OS 5.2.6 or DRIVE Software 9.0 or 10.0.

It sounds contradictory.

If you’re asking about the release schedule of DriveWorks 4.0, you may need to check it with your nvidia representative. Thanks.

Hi @VickNV

If I install DriveWorks 3.5 having flashed the machine with Drive OS 5.2.6, will I be able to cross-compile all nvros packages that come with Drive OS 5.2.6 without causing any problem with the OS due to incompatibility?

Sorry that I need to tell you the truth; we don’t know the answer because we haven’t tried it.

Please refer to the below information in DRIVE OS 5.2.6 Release Notes (PDF).
