Possible to use DriveWork API with Carla simulator through ROS 2?

Have anyone tried using the DriveWork API on the ROS 2 (particularly on ROS autoware) ? I am developing the Autonomous vehicle algorithm using the autoware framework and bridging communication with Carla simulator , but the planning algorithm within the DriveWork which is the safety force field got my attention and I am thinking if I install the DriveWork into my host ubuntu desktop , can I just use its API solely on simulaiton ?

Or is there any other way to implement the DriveWork API to 3rd party development software as I mentioned above?
