Dear support,

We are trying to use both 10GbE (RJ45-J1, mgbe_1) and 1GbE (RJ45-13, eqos_0) to receive data from IP cameras and sensors, with MTU size of 9000 bytes but the eqos_0 seems to be limited at 1500 bytes. Is it right or are we missing something during the network configuration?

As an alternative, we tried to use the DUAL HMTD-J2 (LAN7431, enP7p1s0) but, although it can be correctly configured, we cannot ping the cameras. Is it because it is not allowed to use this port for such a purpose?

Thank you in advance.

Dear @pablo.garcia2

Yes. correct

we tried to use the DUAL HMTD-J2 (LAN7431, enP7p1s0) but, although it can be correctly configured, we cannot ping the cameras

do you see IP coming in ifconfig ? Is it not working when connected to dual HMTD-J2 port 1(MGBE0 inteface) as well?

Dear @SivaRamaKrishnaNV ,

Thanks for the quick follow-up. We can configure the IP and the output of the if config command shows the correct IP, but we cannot communicate with the cameras. Neither with the QUAD HMTD-J3 for instance. Does the VLAN configuration block it?

Please, do not hesitate to ask us to share any helpful output from our device. Thank you!

Dear @pablo.garcia2,
We have not tested with IP cameras. The supported cameras are at https://developer.nvidia.com/drive/ecosystem-orin#camera
Do you plan to use only IP camera for your development or just testing to see if it works?
